Interview with KREIM
Q: Who would you like to collaborate with?
A: I would love to collab with Lil Wayne, A Boogie, Hov and Wale
Q: Who is your biggest inspiration? What about them inspires you?
A: They are my biggest inspirations. Wayne for his ability to come off the top of the dome (like Jay Z) and deliver those heavy punchlines so creatively and effortless. Jay for his ability to tell his story so differently every time and educate so creatively with his lyricism. A Boogie because he’s good with switching things up and he is a great lyricist. Wale for his poetic, smooth delivery and word play.
Q: What is something you would want the public to know about you as an artist?
A: Lyrics are a major thing for me so sometimes you have to listen in a little deeper. I also aim to create a connection between generations and touch each age in one way or another
Q: Where did your inspiration come from with your newest song?
A: Well it’s no secret that I smoke but I’m very particular. I only smoke backwoods or papers and fronto (which i prefer). Jamaicans call fronto, Grabba. So it’s really just a few faded moments.
Q: When will this song be dropped?
A: Late August 2018
Q: What is your favorite album of 2018?
A: It’s between Everything is Love and that Scorpio joint
Q: What do you enjoy specifically about A.L.I.E.N Entertainment?
A:Well I’ve been in the arts basically all my life and I respect all the other art forms. The whole foundation of A.L.I.E.N is support for ALL of these creative and getting to do what I love in the meantime.
Q: What is a long term goal with your career?
A: I’m short: I aim to travel and perform all over the world.
Q: When did you start playing the sax?
A: I started playing the sax in like third grade.
Q: What made the saxophone your instrument of choice?
A: I saw it on TV one day after school - this dude was playing some smooth jazz and at first i was captured by the drummer but my dad pointed out the dude on sax. I really liked his sound and soulfulness too though. I realized shortly after that my school had a band and that was it from there.
